4 Approval of previous minutes –
Approval of the Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on 20 November 2023 was proposed by Cllr Mrs S Swires, seconded by Cllr M David and signed by the Chairman.
5 Urgent Business – The Defibrillator – Cllr S Swires is taking over the
checking and maintenance of the Smiths Arms
Defibrillator. Waiting for the Squinting Cat’s
electrician to install defib.
Grants – Working with Organisations – review the grants
and grant form for following meeting.
Bench – bench received, contact site management
re installation site.
Notice Board – Apply to Cllr Hull’s Locality Grant.
Commuted Sums – Cllr Parish is in contact with NYC.
Hedges Hedges again overgrown, Cllr Swires to
Arrange a trim.
Newsletter Send out in Spring. Think about content.
Website Write to Rural Computer Services.

– The bank balances at 8 January 2024 were reported to the Parish
Council:

Invoices for Chevin Land Scapes – Grass Cutting and leaf clearing £726.00
and Broxap – Bench £1,018.80 approved for payment.
Clerk to arrange meeting with Bank about mandate instructions.
Quarterly Internal audit to be carried out at next meeting.
Precept request sent in and acknowledged.

Councillor to chase up information about “village walk through”, hedges and Loal Plan details. Write to Cllr Hull re grant for noticeboard.
