4. Minutes of the meetings held on 9 January
2020.
Approval of the Minutes of the Parish Council
Meeting held on 8 January 2020 was proposed by Cllr Muirhead, seconded by Cllr Ellis
and signed by the Chairman.
5. Matters arising not dealt with elsewhere: Copies
of Emergency Plan to be provided by
Harrogate Borough
Council.
6. Traffic and Highways:
Cllr
David reported that a second traffic/speed logging exercise would be conducted
for us, the logger will be located on Howhill Road before the intersection with
Otley Road.
It was suggested a diary be kept of disruptions
and blockages be kept.
7. Urgent Business:
a) Grass Cutting It
was agreed that the grass verge between the Shaw
Lane corner and the
Smiths Arms be included in grass
cutting.
b) Litter Pick Saturday
4 April 2020, information to be included on the
Spring Newsletter.
c) Training Cllr
Ellis and the Parish Clerk attended the training. Several points arose, a more
detailed report to follow.
e) Footpath The
Community Payback organisation is to start the clearance/tidyup on the footpath
to Harlow Hill in a couple of weeks.
8. County Councillor’s Report: The County Council’s Budget is to be set at the next
Council Meeting (27
February)
“Salt of the Earth” Awards.
Election of Police Commissioner.
